You’ll find our cafe inside The Malthouse alongside 25 stalls of anitques, collectables, and arts and crafts. Spread over 2 floors, it’s a wonderful place to sip coffee while perusing the stalls. We have seating inside, with more seating in our beautiful large sunny aspect garden.
Brunch from 9.30 am - served all day (granola, sourdough toast, pastries, strata bakes)
Lunch from 11.30 am - onwards (global soups, cornbreads, slaws)
Coffee, Cakes and Teas - served all day (cookies, bars, loaf cakes, bread puddings, ice cream)

How to get to Hythe from London
By car London to Hythe is around 1h 30m, approx 75 miles.
By train London St Pancras to Folkestone Central 52 mins, buses to Hythe leave every 30 mins and take just 28 mins, although we recommend cycling to Hythe along the sea front, it’s flat, beautiful, traffic free, and makes a perfect day out.
Cycle hire available just a short walk form Folkestone Central station from £15 per day : Renhams Cycles
£5 per hour: click2cycle (Collect/drop off Bike Stations, APP and smartphone required)
Cycle parking available in our cafe garden.
Coach is the cheapest option, London New Cross Gate to Folkestone takes 2h 10.
